What is Inventor?
Autodesk Inventor is a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software application for creating 3D digital prototypes used in the design, visualization, and simulation of products. It is developed and sold by Autodesk, Inc. Inventor allows users to create and manipulate parametric as well as direct shape models, run dynamic simulations, create assemblies, and produce drawings and other documentation.
It is widely used in the manufacturing, architecture, construction, and media and entertainment industries for creating and analyzing 3D models for various purposes such as design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing. Inventor also provides integration with other Autodesk software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
